Legislative & Regulatory Representation Our CASP lobbyist represents school psychologists’ professional interests before the California State Legislature. CASP also monitors and communicates regularly with state departments, boards and commissions that affect the profession.

CASP Today This quarterly newsletter keeps school psychologists informed of the latest research and practitioner information, alerting you to changes in the laws and regulations affecting the profession. It also keeps members informed on statewide and local affiliate news.

The California School Psychologist This juried, annual academic journal is devoted to contemporary issues in school psychology and is distributed to CASP members and to university and college libraries across the nation and overseas.

Continuing Professional Development CASP members receive discounted rates for association-sponsored workshops, conferences and the annual convention. These continuing education activities offer the latest information on research, programs and training in school psychology. CASP also offers Certified Advanced Training and Specialization (CATS) for school psychologists to document training in advanced areas of the profession.

This interactive web site also acts as a repository for the latest federal and state school psychology regulations, allows for online registering for CASP continuing education programs and has answers for the difficult cases school psychologists may face.
