Delegate to NASP and CASP President-Elect
California’s
own Lee Huff presided over this year’s NASP convention held at the end of March
in Atlanta, GA (which attracted over 4,000 school psychologists from around the
nation). Huff entered his final months as the first NASP president from California
by offering opening remarks at the general session, participating in keynote
activities and by providing superior leadership at the Delegate Assembly meeting.
Significant California contributions to this year’s convention included workshop
presentations by 34 California residents.
Next year’s convention will be held in Anaheim and Kristin
Powers, CASP’s new school psychologist specialist and one of next year’s NASP
convention local chairpersons, was in Atlanta to promote event.
