By Roy Applegate, CASP President
The following is excerpted from the speech CASP President Roy Applegate delivered at the Presidential and Awards Luncheon at CASP Convention 2001.
It is a pleasure to address the Past Presidents, award recipients, Board Members, invited guests, and friends at the luncheon today. It is truly a privilege and somewhat humbling to be able to speak to you today.
This is probably the major event of the CASP presidential role, and one that generates great anticipation and anxiety. Still, I am honored with opportunity to say a few words of inspiration, even though it is mixed with perspiration, to such an esteemed audience.
