CASP and other special education partners again convened a statewide meeting of stakeholders for training and discussion on research-based interventions for literacy and math, and early interventions for improved mental health.
Representatives from the California Department of Education
presented on IEPs, standards and assessments at the December gathering, the
second “summit” of special education stakeholders held in Sacramento in the
last two years. A distinguished panel of experts from the Association of
California School Administrators (ACSA), The ACCESS Center, Council for
Exceptional Children (CEC), and Protection and Advocacy (P&A) fielded
questions on how changes to IDEA
