Dr. Jackie Allen Recognized at Foundation Event

 

Dr. Jackie Allen, retiring as consultant from the Counseling and student Support office at the California State Department of Education, shared the spotlight with State Senator Bruce McPherson on August 24, at a fundraising event sponsored by the California School Psychology Foundation.

Dr. Allen received a certificate of recognition and appreciation from the Pupil Services Coalition for her 30-plus years of outstanding professional leadership and service for student support.

            Highlighting her career, Dr. Allen was appointed lead consultant for the Assembly Bill 722 Study of Pupil Services Ratios, Programs and Services which reflected the need for more effective pupil support services in California public schools.
