School Psychologists Show Range of Crisis Experience in CASP Web Survey

California’s school psychologists have a range of skills at the ready to respond to — and prevent — school crises, according to the results of a survey conducted from the end of March through mid-May via the CASP web site. The shootings at two San Diego-area high schools last spring prompted CASP to conduct the survey. The results were included in reports submitted to members of the Legislature, the state Department of Education and the office of the state Secretary of Education.
