On Monday March 5, 2001 at a little after 9:15 a.m., shots were fired by a 15-year-old student with a gun at Santana High School in Santee, California. In the next four minutes, there was chaos in the small quad and hallways around the boys’ restroom as two students were killed and another twelve students and a staff member were wounded.
